No. Unlike salt-based products that can liquefy, our materials hold water molecules within their structure. The surface always remains dry—no dripping, swelling, or sticky residue. That makes them safe to place near electronics and other moisture-sensitive items.

Salt-based desiccants (such as calcium chloride or magnesium chloride) often liquefy when saturated, creating risks of leakage, corrosion, and contamination. Their service life is usually less than two years. Our packs are solid, durable, and safe—reusable for up to a decade without releasing corrosive chemicals.
